What customers say?

“ Century Tsukiji offers a delightful blend of authentic Japanese cuisine with both buffet and à la carte options. I particularly loved their Beef Teppanyaki, yakiniku, and takoyaki, which were the highlights of the meal for me. However, while their salmon sashimi, karaage, and ebi tempura were good, they didn’t stand out as much. They also offer a ramen and dessert bar, but I found their ramen and desserts to be just okay. One area that could be improved is the lighting—it feels a bit dim, which takes away from the overall ambiance. Despite these minor misses, I thoroughly enjoyed the overall experience. Truly they live up to their name as the best if not one of the best japanese buffet restaurant in the Metro. If you’re planning to visit, I recommend using the Eatigo app or keeping an eye out for online promos to save a few pesos! ”

“ Had a really nice lunch at Tsukiji Restaurant in Century Park Hotel! It was a Monday weekday so the place was quiet. no crowd at all! which made the experience even better. This wasn’t my first time here and I can say the food has been consistently amazing every single visit. As someone who loves Japanese food, I was so happy with the selection. The sashimi and sushi station is always the highlight for me. The salmon, tuna, shiromi (red snapper) and ebi sashimi were insanely fresh like, melt-in-your-mouth level. I think I had about four full plates just of sashimi alone! The Beef Yakiniku was so mouthwatering and bursting with flavor. The DIY miso soup station? Ugh! Yummy! And the ramen bar made me genuinely happy because of the variety they offer. I also want to commend Chef Ellie Rebung Espiritu and Chef Bryan Abanto. They were the ones who assisted me, and they were so gracious and informative when explaining the dishes in the buffet area. Really appreciated the warm service. Overall, super worth it. Can’t wait to go back! ”

“ Food is normal at best, but the service is excellent hence the 4 stars. For the food that has a high turnover like ebi tempura, they're more or less hot. For the less popular ones, they can be a tad lukewarm already. Sushi area is really great with some great tasting ones. Again, the less popular sushi can be tough already. Ramen section and the rest of the hot good are just alright. ”

“ A top choice in the mid-range price segment! We made a reservation as late as 10 am for the 11 am to 2 pm slot on May 1st (a public holiday at 1.6k per person) and quickly received confirmation for the buffet lunch. The food selection primarily focused on sushi, sashimi, ramen, and a variety of other Japanese dishes, with desserts and fruits also included. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience and plan to return in the future. Don't forget to inquire about potential discounts, such as those for senior citizens, persons with disabilities (PWD), or certain bank cards like BPI, which could save you up to 20%. ”

“ I’ve been here for a total of 3 times only, my latest one was just recently when we had dinner a day before valentines day and on a weekday. My first visit was on a weekend, so they offered more seafood (we had uni, scallops and oyster but these are not available on weekdays). It was really a pleasant experience. The seafood was really good! The beef was also very tender and tasty. My second visit was good as expected on a weekday. It’s like I found my go-to japanese buffet. I enjoyed it. However this time the third one, when we tried the beef, the first serving was a little overcooked and very chewy and gummy. Next serving we got the beef is okay. So there is inconsistency maybe with the quality of beef? Hope you can improve this regardless of the day/time of visit. Overall, still a nice place to have authentic japanese food. The crepe dessert is also what I crave after a tasty meal. I will definitly be back again but maybe on a weekend. ”

“ This all-Japanese buffet is good enough. The selections are not that plenty, but considering its price point @ 1,399 / pax for lunch on a Sunday, you do get your money’s worth. The beef teppanyaki was not melt-in-your-mouth, but not chewy either. It’s just ok. The flavor though was a bit strong, so you might want to ask the staff to put less sauce. The selection of sashimi was good enough, but the salmon and tuna were not really premium. Just decent. The maki choices have more variety. Again, not the best-in-class, but decent enough to satisfy your cravings. The scallops were ok, but if you want more scallop and less flavoring, you might want to ask the staff to put less sauce when they cook it for you, just like the beef teppanyaki. The miso soup was also ok, but I like the fact that you create your own by choosing your ingredients before you fill your bowl with the miso soup. The tempura were also good, and the shrimps in particular were of decent size. The oysters were the only ones that really disappointed. Too small to be enjoyed well, and the sauce kinda diminished the true taste of the oysters. The yakitori, on the other hand, was the highlight of this buffet, in my opinion, with the bacon & asparagus combi as the best among the choices. The shrimps on a stick were good too. The desserts were ok too, including the crepe (with mango, pineapple or strawberry as your choices for filling), which you can also customize with various toppings (chocolate/ vanilla/ strawberry ice cream, chocolate bits, marshmallows, etc). The rest of the desserts, like the cheesecake, were enjoyable too. All in all, the food choices, though not plenty, made the buffet price more than worth it. My family’s consensus is that this buffet is worth another visit the next time we get a craving for decent Japanese food without breaking the bank. Oh, and the staff were friendly and accommodating, except for the guy manning the teppanyaki station and the lady manning the ‘create-your-own-ramen and crepe station atvthe time of our visit—who, though not exactly rude or unfriendly, seemed like they didn’t like working there (just my IMPRESSION, and I could be wrong). But overall, the staff deserve five stars. ”

“ Japanese buffet was good. Large variety of sushi and shashimi. Make your own noodles soup. Different tempuras. There's also teppanyaki selection. Limited desserts of cakes, ice cream and crepes. ”

“ The food is not extensive as other hotel buffets, but the quality is good. They have a nice selection of dishes. Waitstaff and very friendly and attentive. Special mention to supervisor Lydia as she took good care of us and found us some seats even if they were fully booked. We had a pleasant lunch there and will definitely go back. Highly recommend! ”
